Interclub
The February Interclub Matches at the Muni originally scheduled for February 5th were postponed due to heavy rains and flooding at the Muni. The rescheduled matches were contested on February 26th on a sunny warm day. The Muni again battered the field as the top score was +6 by the Shadowmoss team. The Muni team struggled to a 6th place finish with only a few players able to post positive quota scores. This leaves the Muni Team still ranked 4th in the year-long competition. Two Muni players finished in the Top 25- B. Rotundo and J. DeStefano. The next matches will be contested at Coosaw Creek on March 4th. Good luck gents!
JLGA Kickoff Classic
The first scheduled JLGA competition for 2024 was held on February 24th. The full field of 40 members competed in a stroke play event that was open to all members. Prizes were awarded for top low-gross and low-net finishers and VP Rich Bull also ran a complementary cash skins game. The winners are listed below. Congrats to Fitz Coker- 1st low gross and Ricky Bailey- 1st low net for topping the field.

CALGA
The Muni team traveled to The Links at StonoFerry Course on February 20th to compete in the second CALGA event of 2024. The Muni Ladies had a strong performance and showing on the course. With 17 players registered to play, 8 placed in their flight.

The March Tournament for the Muni ladies who play CALGA will be on March 19 at RiverTowne. The format will be a 4-ball, so individuals will be paired with another Muni player. JLGA 1st Annual Match Play Challenge Begins in March
The next JLGA event is the 1st Annual Match Play Challenge. This is an individual match-play event. The field will be set at 32. All JLGA members with an established Handicap Index (HI) are eligible to play. Registration will open on March 1. Be on the lookout for your invitation. This is a double-elimination competition so all competitors will have two chances to make it to the finals. We hope to make this an annual competition for JLGA members. Keep in mind that all competitors should make sure that they will be available to play matches until June 7.
