The Latest from GHIN and SCGA
| What’s the Big Deal with Hole-by-Hole Scores? | |||
| The CGA highly encourages golfers to post scores by using the hole-by-hole method. Posting scores hole by hole takes very little time! You can record scores as you play or at the end of the round by referring to your paper scorecard. What are the benefits of posting scores hole by hole? The Maximum Hole Score rule is automatically applied! This leads to an accurate Handicap Index®. Posting errors are minimized. Hole-by-hole statistics are recorded. View your percentage of birdies, pars, bogies, etc.Your home club will have hole-by-hole data recorded for statistical analysis. If your round is cut short before completing 18 holes, you will need to post hole by hole anyway! |
